one step closer to being settled

So we've been looking for months for dining room chairs and just couldn't find THE ones we wanted.  Finally, last weekend we finally found ones we wanted and got a great price on them!!  Here they are:
We had to buy cushions for them, so that was another event, but I'm really excited about the way it all looks!  Tying bows was challenging, since the material is so thick, but I think they are okay.  I love the different colors!

And we finally got some more pictures hung in our living room!

What do you think?  I love how our home is coming together and is so homey!  Drop by anytime! ;)

  1. The bows do look great! What color are the cushions of the 2 chairs against the wall? I like the colors of the other ones ... Hope no one spills red whine on that white one! ;o)

I am guessing you bought the pix for the living room?

    Looks good - well done!

    Love ya.

But what could I do? I had a three year old and one year old at home.  ... I could teach some German. But when?   ... I could donate clothes and other items that were needed. But that didn't seem like enough. ... I could give money. But I wanted something more tangible.  I would put my youngest to bed and during those days, she needed lots of TLC in order to get to sleep. 6. chair

Z is loving her new "chair"- no more laying around in the buggy for this little one. {unless of course she's napping} She loves looking around and taking it all in. I love being able to see her better this way and laugh together. Just today I got stopped at the grocery store by a woman that asked me if I knew how adoringly my baby was looking at me.  It was a strange, yet funny and sweet, experience...very un-Austrian.
