 I love how some friendships, it doesn't matter how long you been apart, you just pick up right where you left off.  That's how things work with Michelle and me.  We may not always write and call each other, but we never loose our connection.  This past week was so fun with Michelle.  I loved showing her around Vienna, laughing at all our crazy inside jokes, quoting and watching movies, playing games and having great heart to hearts with her!  I'm so thankful she was able to come and I'm even more thankful for our friendship!  Shells, come back any time!!  Love you!! pretty flowers by the palace Schönbrunn love this gate! ...click... the Austrian flag in flowers beautiful day to explore this wonderful city i just love all the colors we went to the maze-labyrinth part of the palace...my first time they had fun little games in some of the mazes and just amazing greenery all around we had Bible study Thursday night, so we made fruit p

wedding

Last week, I flew to Germany to spend a few days with my family before taking a train to meet up with Felix and go to our friends' wedding. The weather was so back and forth between rain and sun, but it was still a wonderful day and beautiful wedding. this was at the beginning on the train ride to meet Felix...the clouds were so dark! but the further north I went, the more beautiful the day turned out the getaway car...I LOVED it! :) the little church where they got married. we had to sit in the balcony and missed a bit of the wedding because of this... the happy couple! on our way to the reception, this beautiful, low, and BIG rainbow was to be seen The next day, we drove about nine hours to get back to Vienna. We saw even more beautiful rainbows! I love rainbows and how they show us God keeps His promises! It's nice being home again! Today my friend, Michelle, will be coming and I can't wait for our time w/ her! Then next week, it'

one year ago

  Today is our first year anniversary!  My how time flies!  It has truly been a wonderful year.  We've learned a lot about ourselves and what love is.  We've seen sides of each other that are not always the prettiest, but we've also seen sides that are beautiful and pleasing to the Lord.  I'm so thankful for my truly amazing husband!!   I LOVE these things about him: - he makes me feel so loved and special - he helps me with cleaning, washing dishes/windows, cooking - he ALWAYS takes out the trash (something I HATE!)! - he encourages me when I'm done - he prayers for me  - he is quick to smile and laugh  - he's extremely patient - he loves the Lord - he plays games   - he takes great care of me when I'm sick -  he watches even the girlie movies with me :)  - he lets me read children's books to him - he loves my family  - he buys all kinds of juice when it's on sale, because I love juice I am truly blessed  to

traveling

  ...going home to Germany today, with only carry-on (don't let the picture fool you!) :o) ...sad to leave Felix behind ...looking forward to time with family and friends ...and to being reunited with Felix on Saturday The next time I fly, I'll be headed to the STATES! Yipee!!  Only 15 more days! Oh, how I love summer break!
